The Melton Launches New Savings Account to Raise Money for Rainbows Hospice
The Society has launched a new affinity savings account which gives savers an attractive rate of interest whilst every year the Society donates a percentage of the average daily account balances to Rainbows.
“Our affinity accounts are ideal for savers who want to help a good cause because the more you save, the more we donate,” said Simon Taylor, Chief Executive, the Melton. “As a mutual Society we pride ourselves on looking after our members, but we are also committed to supporting charities and good causes that in turn, improve the lives of those in the local area.”
The Rainbows 90 Day Notice Affinity Savings Account can be opened either in branch or online by visiting www.themelton.co.uk.
Rainbows is the East Midlands’ only hospice for children and young people, providing vital care and support to families impacted by life-limiting or life-threatening conditions. The hospice provides end of life care, symptom management, short breaks and respite care, together with help for parents and siblings through their bereavements. Rainbows only gets around 15% of their funding from government bodies, so the charity relies on donations to fund the care they give.
